![]() Look at your analytics and see what time your views are hoping on to view your shorts. ANYONE willing to watch my noob game play is appreciated. Now my regular uploads are getting 10 or so views. I tried to post them on a consistent basis. I went from 15 or so subs to 209 in about 2 months. I started posting shorts after my uploads weren't doing well. I'd say if making 4-5 a day works for what you do, awesome! But if you have main, longer videos on the channel, make shorts related to that and then entice them into your channel with more info/comedy/whatever your niche is. In that sense, more shorts = more chances to be picked up by the feed, but also its not guaranteed. A short last week did kinda average numbers for me (120 in 24 hours), and then a day later it got 600 views in an hour after it was promo'd on the Shorts feed. Regarding the algorithm picking it up? F*** knows. As long as the shorts are punchy, you'll get a decent reception. I've had a bit of transfer over to my channel, with a few people checking other stuff out and subbing because of it. Releases 24-48 hours before that video, and in the short, I mention that main video releasing soon, and do a quick promo for the channel. At least 1 short is related to 1 of my main videos that week. My current schedule is 2-3 shorts per week and 1-3 normal videos. I'm currently experimenting with shorts on my main channel, so this isn't.an exact science or anything in any way shape or form, but this has been my experience. Be prepared to have tiny growth for 1 whole year. This is okay for only 3 weeks in.ĭon’t give up. But instead I’ve got 100 subs and long videos starting to get a few views. If I just did long videos and hoped for the best. But I’m seeing results after only 3 weeks starting a new channel. It will take a couple of months to get the ball rolling. The social media account begin to grow and start leading a few extra subscribers to you. The algorithm recognises this and starts to help you. And that’s based on 1 short per day.Īs time goes on the audience grows. Out of those 10 maybe only 3 people (just guessing) will really love everything you make)Įven if it is only 3 people each day it is still growth. The point is they subscribe and will see more. (In my case I make shorts using clips of the longer videos) They will see more shorts and they will see the longer videos too. Out of that 2k sometimes 10 people subscribe. This is also the same for creating Instagram and TikTok accounts and posting reels to draw people to YouTube that way.Įach short gets around 2k views. The issues come from having a strategy that uses shorts to slowly draw people to your longer videos. My new channel for example is growing because of shorts. It’s different from person to person and channel to channel. While the previous comments have some truth to them. Hopefully I can help motivate some people.
